In short: your reminders and special days stay on your iPhone. There’s no account, no ads and no tracking. When you ask the AI to write a wish, only the name, the occasion and the style are sent, and they aren’t kept.
What stays on your device
Your reminders, to-dos, special days, messages, phone numbers and settings are stored on your iPhone. Foxnudge has no account and no server that keeps them. Automatic backups are saved on your device, or in your own iCloud when iCloud is on. If you delete the app, this data is deleted with it.
AI wishes
When you tap “Write with AI”, the name you entered, the occasion, the style you picked, the age or years together (if known) and the app’s language are sent over an encrypted connection to our server, which uses OpenAI to write the message.
- This text isn’t stored and is never used for advertising.
- To prevent misuse, a random app ID and your IP address are used to count daily use. These counts are deleted within two days and aren’t linked to you.
- Your reminders and phone numbers are never sent.
Contacts
If you choose “Import from Contacts”, Foxnudge reads birthdays, anniversaries and phone numbers on your device to add them as special days. “Pick from Contacts” shares only the person you choose. Nothing from Contacts leaves your device.
Messages and WhatsApp
Foxnudge never sends messages by itself. It opens WhatsApp or Messages with your message written, and you decide whether to send it.
Notifications, alarms, voice and Face ID
- Notifications and alarms are scheduled on your device; nothing is sent to a server.
- Spoken reminders are made on your device with Apple’s voices.
- Face ID is handled by iOS. Foxnudge never sees your face data.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We never see your payment details.
What we don’t do
No ads, no analytics or tracking tools, no selling or sharing of your data, and no account to sign up for.
Children
Foxnudge is not directed at children under 13 and doesn’t knowingly collect their data.
